The reason it is important for a doctor to incorporate his/her business is because of the need for professional services.
According to a Harvard Law School study on business incorporation, one of the reasons is that it is in a sense a form of trust. It allows the company to represent itself to the IRS, the state, and in turn the public in a way that allows the company to receive public funds. The public doesn’t have to worry about a company being unethical or not representing the community.
The reason a professional such as a lawyer/doctor would incorporate hisher business is because of the need for professional services.
Though it’s a bit of a latecomer to say that a large number of people can make a name for themselves as lawyers, the main reason for this is that they can’t do it.

A lawyer is a lawyer. A doctor is a doctor. A lawyer is also a lawyer. This is a point that comes up with so many lawyers and doctors in general that it is worth pointing out.
I like to talk about “the profession” as a whole. If we’re talking about attorneys, doctors, etc., then the main thing is being a lawyer. If we’re talking about a company, the main point is being a company. In both cases, there is a point for which they exist. So if there isn’t a company that exists because they are a lawyer, doctor, etc., then that’s where they should leave.
Your company may have some employees. But if you are the CEO, then this is no longer that. The business in your case is the law, the law is the company. The law is the company. The company is the law.
So if you are a lawyer or doctor, you create your own company. And if you are a lawyer or doctor, the company is the law. The company is the law.
