As the firm’s name might imply, our legal team specializes in estate planning with our clients needing to create a will or estate plan and our clients needing to handle probate. We have a full-service probate department that handles probate and administration of estate administration and a full-service estate planning department that handles wills and trust administration. Our staff is capable of handling any type of estate matter, regardless of the complexity of the issues.
In fact, we are currently handling estate planning for a client in the process of estate administration. We also learned that during the first month, our partner was not feeling very well. She was on the couch reading a book or something and decided to go to the bathroom. We tried to stop her but she wouldnt stop. She got up and said she had to go to the bathroom, and then went to the door to our office.
By the time we got to the door, she was dead.
We had no idea what happened, but were still glad we had her on our minds. She was a very close personal friend of the wife of our partner, who was a lawyer. Our partner had just died, and we had absolutely no idea what to do. She was our partner’s favorite person, and she would never have done anything to hurt her.
We had to tell her at the beginning of the day, because she was working in a very public office, and we needed to be there for her. She still wouldn’t stop, but we got her to let us know she had to go to the bathroom, and she just kept saying, “I have to go.” It was a very weird conversation. We still have no idea what happened, but we are so glad she was part of our lives.
