Frances McDormand is a phenomenal actress, who was the first African American woman to win an Academy Award. She is also an excellent comedienne, singer, and actress. She has a very strong work ethic and is the person who was able to bring her acting career back to where it was when she came out of the closet.
Frances McDormand is a brilliant writer. She’s an amazing writer and a great actress, and she is also a great film actress. She was born in the 60’s (I think) and has appeared in a number of great movies including The Notebook, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and Love and Basketball. Frances has always been a self-assured personality.
As well as being the only black woman to win an Oscar, Frances is the only black woman to have been in a film nominated for an Oscar.
One of the most incredible things about Frances’s career is just how many roles she has been in. In addition to being nominated for an Oscar she has played a character in dozens of movies including classics like The Graduate and A River Runs Through It. What this means is that she has been in a number of roles where she has been in all the right places for the right amount of time.
