By Business meetings happen on a daily basis, but most people are aware of how important it is to schedule meetings with their clients. However, scheduling a meeting with your client on the weekend can help you create a more enjoyable and productive experience.
For the past year or so, our calendar has been a bit of a disaster. We have a lot of business meetings on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Of course, the weekdays are also a work day, but they’re usually really fun. A lot of the fun stuff happens on those days. We like to get together with our friends and family to drink wine, play board games, and get a little silly.
I think I’ve learned that the best way to schedule a meeting with your client or family is to have a day that feels like a work day. Then you have an afternoon where you feel productive because you have to get the work done, and a night where you feel rested because you have to go home and unwind.
That’s kind of what I’ve been doing for the past two weeks. I’ve been meeting with clients, and families, and partners, and managers, on the weekends, but most of the weekends are spent getting work done. I don’t have an office – I work from home – but I do have a fairly decent amount of free time.
On the weekends Ive been going to the gym, watching movies, reading books, and playing games. Of course, it’s a little bit different than work because I have to leave work early to go to my day job, but I feel better because Ive got more time.
For the purposes of this review, I’ll be referring to the last week of June, the latest month of 2012. As the title says, that’s when the “new season” begins.
A new season is when you start having sex with a new member of the group, and it’s just like having sex with the first guy. It’s like having a new girlfriend and a new date. We get all the little details that we need about who to meet, what to tell, who to pick up, and where to go. It’s like having a new friend who is a friend of yours.
The only problem is that most of our friends are not new people this time. In order to understand these new friendships, you have to see past the cute first meeting. These new friends are in a completely different position. They don’t know you and you don’t know them. They want to be your friend, but they don’t know your friends and you don’t know theirs.
Having a business day can be great. It can give you a chance to plan a party, book something, buy a new car, get a new address, or even take a nap. But it can also be a nuisance. It can slow you down, stop you from doing anything, and can cause you to forget to go to the gym, go to work, or buy groceries. You can also have a business day that you don’t want to have.
Business day is also called “a little party” because it can be kind of fun. If you have a party and you’re having a party, or if you’re having a party and you’re having a party, you have a little party, just as if you had a little party. You don’t have to have a little party to have a little party. But if you do, you have a little party to have.
